Orc

Origins

Orcs are believed to be the oldest example of a race created by the Dead Dreaming, also known as the Dread Dreaming. The earliest Orcs discovered in the depths of the Great Jungle of Gerule claimed a history that no other race could corroborate or even vaguely recognize. The details of their history were also haze and contradictory, not unlike a dream. Enraged and confused, the orcs killed nearly all of the people in the first contact group, and swore to conquer and subjugate the whole of the continent. Unfortunately for them, the advent of the Gnomes caused them to get distracted, and they have struggled to contend with this single foe, much less the other denizens of Chenravo.  

Regions

The Orcs are contained to the Great Jungle of Gerule and the Fallen Sea.   

Stereotypes

Stereotype	Why this Stereotype Exists
Orcs only seek dominion over Gerule.	That is only their current ambition. They made their goals clear at the beginning, and if they are ever to secure their footing, no one would be safe.
Orcs are a godless race.	The Orcs have created many of their own gods, though none have surpassed the level of regional.
Orcs are an Elder Race.	Though they were introduced early in Chenravo's history, they are not a true Elder Race.
