Origins
An Aasimar is created any time a god or angel deigns to have intimate relations with a mortal. Despite divine descent, Aasimar are still people, and free to act in accordance with or in opposition to their parents' plans, wishes, or designs. There are many historical examples of both of these kinds of events occurring.
Regions
Aasimar can generally be found in holy places. Those that turn from their parents may shun religions altogether, or find another god that they find suits them better. Regardless, the best place to find an aasimar is a holy place.
Stereotypes
| Stereotype | Why this Stereotype Exists |
| All Aasimar are good. |
Aasimar, as with all mortals, are free to choose their own paths through life. They can choose to pursue a live of virtue and purity, a life of villainy and filth, or anywhere inbetween. |
| Aasimar have destinies to fulfill. |
The Aasimar are not always created by a god, goddess, or angel with a purpose in mind. Sometimes, like mortals, there are sapses of judgement that lead to their birth. |
| Aasimar have and are a source of immortality. |
Some Aasimar, particularly those who follow the path of their parents, may earn a boon of immortality, but immortality is not a gift given by default. Also, due to it being a divine gift, the immortality cannot be transferred from one person to another by force. |
