Aarakocra

Origins

Aarakocra are the most populous of any mageborn race. They are also the last in the line of mageborn races created to combat each other. The Kenku were created as spies, and the Tabaxi to counter them. The Aarakocra were created to counter the Tabaki, to be able to escape them in the skies, even at the cost of the imitation that made Kenku so valuable. Since their creation, many have left Harkinmont to settle the vast reaches of Chenravo. Many have felt the calling of Jakular's teachings, and chosen to follow Him.  

Regions

The Aarakocra have flown far and wide, finding homes in nearly every corner of Chenravo. As they spread, they also adapted quickly to their new environments, perhaps an ability granted to them by their arcane origins.   

Stereotypes

Stereotype	Why this Stereotype Exists
Aarakocra are cannibals.	In some Aarakocra cultures, it has become a habit to eat eggs. They don't eat Aarakocra eggs, but rather the eggs of birds so that they can "assert their dominance over the skies."
Aarakocra have bad blood with the Tabaxi.	While the Aarakocra were created as a counter to Tabaxi, and there is some tonsion between them in Harkinmont, those who have left the City of 10,000 Tomorrows have found success in working together.
Aarakocra are a creation of Jakular.	Despite their animalistic appearance, worship of the god, and their prescence in many of the natural places in the world, the Aarakocra are mageborn, not god born.
