Chayania

Chayania is a world in peril - except nobody knows it yet. Nobody, that is, except for the few remaining members of a closed, secret order The Crimson Tree.   The Crimson Tree was once the most respected, knowledgeable, and prolific monastic orders in Chayania. They held the history of the world in their halls, closed to no one, offering their assistance to kings and peasants alike. They were the best Chayania had to offer.   Until a disease of the mind swept through their ranks. In mere months, the hallowed halls of knowledge were decimated. Members started speaking in profanities, decrying world rulers and religions as the heralders of doom. As the order slowly descended into madness, the world splintered, kingdoms and factions within kingdoms warring and battling over land, resources, and the remaining knowledge that the members of the Order had not yet managed to destroy.   Decades later, the damage has been done, and the existence of The Crimson Tree is just mere memory now. Legends told as warnings as to what happens when one single group gains too much power. Up until people start disappearing from cities that were once main hubs for The Crimson Tree, being found weeks later, impaled on a stake mounted in the crumbling ruins of the former libraries.   What began to unravel when The Crimson Tree started to lose its grip?
