Altraxian Declaration of War

The Altraxian Declaration of War remains one of, if not the single most influential documents in modern Chardovilian history, solely because it marks the beginning of Altraxia's decades-long conquest in a vain attempt at global domination.¹

An Advantageous Moment

Altraxia elected to adopt its policy of warmongering and global conquest shortly after The Cataclysm left the entirety of Chardovil West obliterated, and the people as devastated as the land. Despite the God of Death's healing rain helping the land itself to recover, the governments had all but completely collapsed.²

Altraxia, seeing the devastation in the West, took the opportunity to claim all of the West as its own territory, contributing to the rebuilding efforts while also allowing the governments to remain mostly self-sufficient.
