    The Founding of Chak Hruun
    Founding

Ashwalker Charesh G'nesht, a descendant of Charag G'nath, called a council of the gnoll Ashwalkers who now ruled the savannah's flourishing cities. A pack people by nature, the walkers saw the wisdom of a formalised system of trade, communication and - should it be necessary - defence. The council recognised Charesh G'nesht as First Claw in recognition of her wisdom and foresight in calling what was then proclaimed the first Gnollmeet of Chak Hruun.

The peaceful secession of mainland orc tribes from Akosh Din's overlordship concluded on the symbollic date of 6,000 CH, when High Chief Shakrin of Koshtonir formally recognised Gorokir as a distinct entity. At that time, Gorokir was governed from Agor Din by High Chief Ysrannak. The two high chiefs blood-sealed a mutually beneficial alliance safeguarding free passage and trade between the archipelago and the mainland.
