J3-26 Cooper`s Crate & Barrel

Owned by Kamryn DeCooper & Suzy DeCooper, who also hire a few local folks to help, and with some of their children (five, with four being adults and two living elsewhere, and one teen still living with them) that also help-out in the shop. The attic area (third level) is used as their private living quarters.   This moderate sized corner building is of wood construction, with a cedar shake roof with a 6:12 pitch (~27°), with three levels (third level is within the roof with dormers onto roof providing lighting-openings (windows (no glass)). The wood construction is unusual considering tha they have their own small forge in the building (it has a large stone hearth and a metal screen system on the top of the flue to minimize sparks leaving the chimney) for making the metal rings and nails used in making the barrels and crates.   They produce a wide range of crates and barrels for various other businesses in the area, including some farms located outside the city and some merchants located in Argentum.     Return to Channel Cities, Martelain, or the J3 Black Swan District of Martelain.
