Ethereal Architect's Design
Ethereal Architect's Design
6th-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S, M (a miniature blueprint and a piece of quartz) Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes
This spell allows you to conjure and manipulate ethereal structures, creating intricate designs and constructs that exist between the physical and the ethereal plane.
Upon casting, you can create any number of structures (walls, bridges, towers, etc.) within a 60-foot cube centered on a point you choose within range. These structures are intangible and invisible on the material plane but provide solid support and cover on the ethereal plane.
Structure Limitations:
Each structure must be connected to another or to the ground. The total volume of the structures cannot exceed 1,000 cubic feet. Structures last for the duration or until you lose concentration. Creatures on the ethereal plane can interact with these structures as if they were real. To material plane creatures, these structures provide partial cover, as they can sense their presence without seeing them.
While maintaining concentration on this spell, you can use your action to alter the design, reshape existing structures, or create new ones within the spell’s range.
Strategic Uses: This spell is ideal for creating tactical advantages, impromptu defenses, or aiding in traversal in both the material and ethereal planes. It's also useful for setting traps or creating temporary hideouts in the ethereal plane.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the range of the spell increases by 30 feet, and the total volume of structures increases by 500 cubic feet for each slot level above 6th.
Classes: Wizard, Sorcerer Source: Homebrew
