Amadeus
Amadeus is Avery's older brother. He was a kind and loving kid also with advanced flying skills. He went to Perch Academy and was the favorite of all the teachers, but he didn't care about any of that, he cared about his little sister. They did everything together. Their dad and mom got divorced a few years after Avery was born so Amadeus was like a father figure to her. He taught her how to fly, to hunt, but to also be a good person. He showed her that not everything in life will go her way, this will get tough, she will lose friends, but if she's kind and caring good things will always come through. Little did avery know she would actually lose her very best friend. Amadeus died at age seven-teen. They said he died from Penymotik, an bacteria that affects the heart. He actually had it for a year before he died from it. He realized he started having the symptoms and told his mom. They went to go get him treated and discovered it was a severe case and he only had a five percent chance of survival. He got medicine a treatments and came home with the weight of his own demise on his shoulders. He decided not to tell Avery because he didn't want her to treat him different because he was sick. So for a year he hid his sickness, holding back throw up, and shaky legs and wings so that he could still be with his sister. He took medicines and made excuses over and over. He hated lying to his sister, but it was his only chance of having a good rest of his life.
