The Chain 05: Remembrance and Recovery

Second Moonday of Redfall, 1015 Y.K.  

A solemn goodbye

  On the water, the Chain of Avalas holds a solemn ceremony for their fallen comrades, sending them out to the water of the Cyre river on burning rafts. During the ceremony, Tupper was given encouraging words from Cina, and the team met a new Goliath ally known as Rilo.   During the first night on the river, Fuller is woken up by a strange feeling in his belt pouch. It's the rune stone of Rook, going through a pattern of symbols.

At the fort

  The company reports to Commander Platus what happened at Rosehall, then Rilo and Formal scout south to look for either attackers or more survivors. They find Stitch, Beans, and a badly wounded Chip leading 30 additional soldiers toward the Fort. This seems to be the only remaining survivors of the Chain of Avalas, as far as we know.  

Rude Awakening!

Second Thunderday of Redfall, 1015 YK   The team is awoken early to the sound of a shouting voice!  

Victory at Kalazart! A massive blow was dealt to the Lord of Blades! Empress Talenda, Gods be praised, led her army to strike a decisive blow against the villain! His forces were caught unawares by the superior tactical wit of the Empire!
