Sweet Tooth Day

The Sweet Tooth Day is very similar to Christmas. It‘s celebrated in the middle of the last month each year. Everyone who doesn‘t worship the dragons celebrates it with their friends, families and even enemies. It is one of the fewer holidays when everyone sets their differences aside and enjoy a big feast together, including presents and songs.

History

There once was a dwarf who lived together with a group of the insinct dark elves up north where it was cold and stormy. The dark elves were hunted to become slaves and their last homeland was destroyed in the Golden War. So their last resort was in the coldest place on Centurion so they fled there with their last remaining magic powers. Sweet Tooth was a young dwarf child who lost his family to the Golden War and since he had nowhere else to go, the dark elves took him in as a part of family and they lived together in a big house where it was warm and cozy, built with their own hands and magic. Sweet Tooth was grateful for the dark elves’ selfless kindness and in return he did what he was best at, carving figurines out of wood and giving them to his new family as presents. They lived together for as long as they could. It was then when Sweet Tooth was very old and sick. He couldn‘t even get off of his bed. As a last request, he wanted his dark elf family to live as happy as they can be and spread joy and happiness to whole Centurion, as he would have done if he could. The family gathered around and offered Sweet Tooth eternal youth and life but he always refused their offer for it would be wrong not to accept his fate. When he died, the aetheral spirit of Sweet Tooth found peace in his new form. He spread joy and happiness for the very last time, this time the whole world felt it and they miraculously got rid of their cold, sickness, sorrows, hunger and pain. Each family, each person received gifts and food so they would survive the unforgiving winter. From that day on, almost everyone believed in the spirit of Father Sweet Tooth and their faith kept him eternal and so the day was always celebrated in his memory.

Components and tools

Each year the kings gather inside the big mansion of the mayor of Saint Mortorf and celebrate with a big feast, music and games. Sometimes they would give each other presents from their homeland as a token of peace, even if it‘s sometimes temporary.   Towns and cities would decorate their lampposts as candy canes, public seats as marshmellows and the nobles donate whatever they are willing to give to orphanages, schools, homeless, etc. Bards gather around in streets to play Sweet Tooth songs and sing together.   Families stay at home, warm and cozy and celebrate with their relatives and give each other presents.
