Dragon

Dragons are considered to be the most dangerous flying reptiles ever lived in Centurion. They existed before the first dwarves set foot outside the Dunkelian Kingdom, they are even known to have created the first language and some sentient races like the Dragonians and Drakonians worship them and give them offerings to please them and in return they receive protection from their common enemies.   Most dragons tend to grow and never stop growing until they are killed/slain. Next to the elves, they live the longest as well, most of them can live for 5000 years.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Most dragons look like giant reptiles with long necks, wide and large wings, four legs and a long tail. Not all of them look like that: There are some dragons that have just two legs or have more than one head. The most powerful dragons have a large and wide build.

Genetics and Reproduction

Since they're reptiles, they mate and lay eggs, they prefer mountains and large caves the most.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Most dragons eat meat and fish.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The dragons have the capability to communicate with other species and races other than themselves. They're very high intelligent to the point they can read minds and are able to speak other languages than the ancient dragon language. Although since they can grow very gigantic, they lose their vision and ability to hear well. They have to use their head figuratively and use their mental powers to detect food, enemy, rival and friend, unless they're not too small to see.
Genetic Descendants
Conservation Status
The most common dragons don't need protection since they protect themselves very well with their thick scales, their elemental breaths, wings, claws and fangs. In fear that the dragons will spread out and attack cities and villages, many knights get sent to hunt them to sink their population.
