Tula Biralo

The immediate Biralo Family consists of a mother, a father, 5 children, and a pet cat. The Biralo name is well known among the magic users in the Hamierian Empire as the family has been a producer of magic components and potion ingredients for 6 centuries under the business name “Biralo Magic Production Services“. The family is actively attempting to expand their business beyond the borders of the Hamierian Empire, but have had little success due to business competition and current familial troubles. The family is also known for producing powerful spell casters, with the majority manifesting sorcerous talents by age 8. Members that are not blessed with innate magic will either study to become powerful bards/wizards, or fall into obscurity in the public eye. Salmalru (Mother)

The mother is a 77 year old Storm Sorcerer Leonin named Salmalru Biralo. She is the only child of Giwam and Folme Biralo, who are both currently deceased. Being the only heir to the Biralo business led her parents to do all they could to groom her into the perfect noblewoman and business woman. From this grooming she learned the ins and outs of high society, the business practices of her future company, and the knowledge necessary for her to become a powerful sorceress. During this time she would meet Roquir, another Leonin who she would fall in love with after a 5 year long friendship. She would eventually marry him when she was 21, the same year she took over the company from her ailing parents. Her life would be uneventful until Roquir’s research would lead to a “curse” to be placed on the family that has driven her husband to near death. Wishing to discover a cure but unable to leave her position she sent out her two eldest children in search of answers. Both would disappear, and in her grief she now tries to keep what is left of her family as close to her as possible. 

Roquir (Father)

The father is a 76 year old Order of Mutant Bloodhunter Leonin named Roquir Biralo (maiden name Falbarren). He was born in the town of Damran to a family who was famous for hunting down and executing occultists and dark art practitioners. He would meet Salmalru during a job in Damran and become fast friends with her, and after 5 years of postal correspondence and misadventures Salmulru would propose to him. He would move into the Biralo estate but continue his work as one of the most prolific hunters and destroyers of the occult  seen in Hamierian history. However in his attempts to defeat the stronger occultist he would resort to forbidden magic and rituals, all in the name of the greater good. His research would not go unnoticed and would eventually lead to a sect of the Church of the Fertile Dark, a cult that worshiped Yallvuda (an elder being worshipped as a god of fertility, monsters, and mutations), to try and recruit him. They instead were wiped out by Roquir, greatly angering the other sect of the Church of the Fertile Dark and leading them to curse Roquir. Over the next 22 years the children he aired would all be mutated by Yallvuda and he would become weaker and more insane, to the extent that he is now bedridden in the Biralo estate, and his future children would. He now spends his days mumbling to himself about the eldritch horrors he once hunted, a shell of the proud Leonin he once was.

Tecba

The eldest child is a 40 year old Storm Sorcerer Leonine named Tecba Biralo. As he is the first child he was expected to take over the Biralo estate and business, and therefore put through the same training as his mother. As such he became nearly identical in behavior, becoming a prime representation of an innovative businessman and of a stalwart community leader. But he would become famous in his own right, and is well known for his magical prowess and dueling capabilities. This would eventually lead him to become prideful and braggadocious as he grew older, but he was still a good person at heart. His plans would change upon his father falling ill, as he and his sister Isra would be sent out to try and find a cure. He has been missing for a year and a half now and was last seen traveling to the far north, searching a vanishing city rumored to contain eldritch secrets.

Isra

The second eldest child is a 39 year old Leonine School of Ritualist WIzard named Isra Biralo. An extremely intelligent individual she spent her childhood in the estate library, where she would memorize thousands of ancient manuscripts and stories. Because of this she became a walking encyclopedia of legends and folklore, including those legends about the occult and unnatural. Her father noticed this talent and would work with her to find hidden places of occult practice, to find the homes of monsters not of their world, and to understand the ritual magic they use. She would witness first hand her father’s decline, becoming more sullen and candid in her interactions with her family. Not wanting to see her father waste away into mother she brought his research to Salmalru and begged her mother to send her to find a cure. She would do this, on the condition that her elder brother accompany her for protection. She was last a year ago chartering a ship to the burning sea, separated from her brother. She was rumored to have been searching for a mythical city of the occult monstrosities supposedly hidden lost beneath waves of the Burning Sea, though sailors would tell of it fading in and out of existence near where it supposedly once stood.

Zikerros

The middle child is the genius 38 year old Armoro Artificer Leonin named Zikerros Biralo. Born prematurely due to the dark forces his father interfered with, he was born missing his right arm and left leg. As Salmulra and Roquir were too busy with their duties to directly take care of their paraplegic child they left a majority of his car to the estate servants. Determined to show his worth to his parents the bubbly Zikerros would throw himself into books and engineering, leading to him developing his own prosthetic limbs. He now spends most of his time developing and producing magic items for the family company, working in hopes that one day he will be seen as an equal to his older siblings (* terms of respect at least). He is on good terms with his younger sisters, but rarely interacts with them due to his self isolation in his Hamier Capital workshop. Update: On Onyxian Council, works on relations between Onyxia and Hamier.

Nuru

The youngest child is a 28 year old Psionic Sorcerer Leonine named Nuru Biralo. Despite the rest of her family’s varying levels of fame most people do not know of Nuru existence. This is due her parents deliberate efforts to hide her psionic capabilities, for they do not want her to become the target of dark practitioners while still so young. So while she was still raised with the same benefit and education as her older siblings she is the only Biralo to have been confined to the estate since birth. Never having met someone similar to her age she acts more like an adult than a teenager, though occasionally she will act in the manner of a teenager going through a rebellious phase. She also has a severe case of wanderlust due to isolation, and makes frequent attempts to escape the Biralo estate. Her relationship with her father was fairly strained due to his rigorous training on her abilities and his experiments in determining her powers origins (not realizing they were a direct result of his work), but she still loved him nonetheless. She now mostly spends her days training to master her powers, with plans to go and search for her missing siblings once she is old enough.
