Basic Information

Anatomy

Elves are tall bipeds with pointed ears and acutely attuned senses. While elves come in a wide range of body types, they are all fairly tall, with heights ranging from about 6 to 6 ½ feet. Each elf is intrinsically tied to the celestial bodies, their appearance reflecting which celestial they are connected to.

Biological Traits

All elves have the ability to drop into a celestial trance, rather than sleep. This allows them to rest effectively in a short amount of time.

Each elf possesses what is known as a “celestial form,” inherited from their parents. These forms are a reflection of the Celestial entity that they align with personally or environmentally. If an elf changes their worldview or a change in their environment has occurred, they may gradually shift Celestial Forms to better suit their desires or needs.

  • Mosodae. Elves with the celestial form reflecting Gaia, the World Tree, have appearances that are similar to nature, specifically trees. Their eyes and hair reflect the color of leaves, and they have bark-like skin. This form is often referred to as the Tree Form.
  • Solaodae. Elves with the celestial form reflecting Sol, the Everlight, have hair and eyes that range from vibrant yellows to red. Their skin will easily tan when exposed to the sun. This form is often referred to as the Sun Form.
  • Ra’Lunodae. Elves with the celestial form reflecting Radis, the Last Light, often reflect the phases of the moon. These elves usually have some degree of heterochromia in the eyes and hair. This form is often referred to as the Light Moon Form.
  • Ur’Lunodae. Elves with the celestial form reflecting Umbris, the Dark Light, tend to have a faint greenish glow in their silhouette and pitch-black hair. Their eyes match the shade of their aura and have a glow that can be seen in the dark. This form is often referred to as the Dark Moon Form.
  • Shaeodae. Elves with the celestial form reflecting The Shae, the Song Stars, come in many different forms, as they might reflect a constellation of stars or a singular one. They have dark purplish skin and silver hair. Their star signs are reflected on their bodies with a faint silver light. This form is often referred to as the Star Form.

Growth Rate & Stages

Elves are considered adults at the age of 20. Once an elf is about 50, their body will gradually slow down the aging processes over time. An elf is considered an elder if they live to 130.
