Ruins of Thalaris

Portal 7 — Restricted Access

  The destination of this portal is a small interior bedroom of house in an ancient ruined city. Once outside the house, however, reveals the ruins are inside a large domed city that appears to be at the bottom of the ocean, if the glowing wet undead pounding at the barrier are any clue.   Most people believe this to be the ancient, fabled city of Thalaris, and whether or not it was the fabled drowned city, most people today simply call it that. The dome provides a breathable and pressurized atmosphere, and the phosphorescent glow of undead at the barrier provide a literal ghostlight for the entire city.   Junction city officials have always been concerned what would happen if that barrier fell, and because of this have restricted access to Thalaris, for fear of tampering with or breaching the dome.
