Ba’Kalesh
The site of a great orc victory after the portals opened, the various orc tribes decided to denote the site honored ground. Over time, the wandering orc tribes in the area settled it and made the battleground a settlement. Once Junction was founded, the settlement became a way for the orc tribes to communicate with each other, and for the orcs as a whole to communicate with the rest of the world.
Today, Ba’Kalesh is a collection of spread out longhouses. When a tribe sends representatives, they claim a longhouse as part of their tribe, and when they leave they renounce the claim on it. It is a collection of different tribes, used to trade, or a common peaceful ground to settle differences between orcish groups. In recent times, it has become common for marriages to occur in Ba’Kalesh to tie tribes closer together.
