Acropolis

The Acropolis is the centermost part of the city, the wealthiest district which lies on a plateau above the rest of the city. At the very center of this district is the Temple of Prometheus, a titanic pillar of stone that connects the bottom and the top of the cavern and holds a temple worshiping the titan Prometheus. It is also gated off to non-Kynoseans unless granted special legal permissions. It is the home of the Athenians, the elite class of Polaris and the members of the senate, and the wealthiest 1% of the city.

The Streets of the Acropolis

The wide, brick-paved streets of the Acropolis are full of life, with many luxurious restaurants, entertainment, and most importantly ballrooms dotted across the district. It is like a suburb, with widely spaced homes holding finely manicured gardens, hedges, and water fountains around their estates. Flower patches & wisterias hang over the public alleyways, creating a gentle cover that provides no shortage of pleasant smells, rustling in the small breezes brought from the top of the cavern.   Shops are covered from head to toe in glass, containing the luxuries of every other nation in one place. The finest foods, jewelry, and magic all make their appearances in cleverly presented windowsills, all to draw in the richest of the rich to buy their goods.

The Agora

At the very center of the district, right at the gates to the Temple of Prometheus, is the Agora, a large open space where the Athenians meet. Often times you can find the most influential members of the city in this pavilion, discussing plans and plotting against their rivals. It is home to only the most luxurious restaurants and shops, making it a prime place for intense competition amongst the shops of the Acropolis.
