Ahvia

Emissaries of the Air Ahvia, or Birdfolk, were said to have been created literally from the air. A creation of Vezphier, channeling the planar energy of air to protect the Prime Material Plane from potential invaders from the Elemental Plane of Air. They stand guard at the tears in the Material that lead to it.
Aarakocra of the World
The difference in Ahvia around the world is the same as the difference in birds. There are thousands of different types of Aarakocra, whether that be their feathers, beaks, talons, size, or any variety of things, Ahvia can adapt anywhere. As stated before, certain Ahvia tribes are the tribes that protect the barriers between the Material plane, and the Elemental plane of Air. Those tribes are more spiritual and religious, worshiping Vezphier, their creator. Aarakocra can be seen usually doing work as Mercenaries, or helping temples around towns and cities.  In the Eyes of the People
These birdfolk are relatively rare, mostly existing in the mountains. And as such they are mostly unknown to some folk, but they are not disrespected or hated, just held at an arm's length. While most Ahvia do not venture into cities and towns, some have, and even less have integrated into that society.
