New Artis
New Artis, formerly known as Artis, is a bustling city in Eastern Gaeleron. New Artis is the current capital of Gaeleron following the Gaeleron war. It was built upon the ruins of the old city, Artis.
Government
New Artis is directly governed by King Anior himself. King Anior resides in his castle in the Gold District, which is also where he governs from.
Guilds and Factions
New Artis has a very heavy guild presence with guilds such as The Thieves Guild, The Fighter's Guild, The Adventurer's Guild, The Merchant's Guild, and The Mage's Guild. New Artis is also home to the Ebongarde, an order of knights sworn to protect Gaeleron.
History
In the year 800, Artis was subject to a secret attack by the Ingog, an Orc Tribe. Artis, as well as most of western Gaeleron, was destroyed. After the events of The Gaeleron War New Artis was founded on the ruins of Artis.
