Jugart

In years long ago, Jugart was full of lush plains and vast ore-rich deserts framed by lush forests. It was home to many a tribe of herdsman, herding all types of beast, from Glorauki, to Drakow. The lush landscape of the planet was riddled with large lakes and rivers, but no oceans. All the land was connected, and the people therein were too, no matter how much it irked some. Mainly consisting of 3 biomes, desert, lowflat green plains and rainforest-like woods, the land provided well for the people.

The Drakow (or "dragon Cow") is desert livestock - a large bison-like creature with horns and scaled skin it sheds every year. The creatures' milk, skin and meat are utilized extensively by various desert farmer communities, and their hooves and horns are use in durable concrete and glass recipes developed by the people of the desert capital Hulrai.

The Glorauki are a type of bird that were used to hunt other creatures in the lush green wildlands by the Buskers, the people of Busk. Once they reached an elderly state and were slower, their feathers were used for clothing, their bones for tools, and sometimes as support beams for structures, and their rough hide as roofing to protect against harsh elements.

As the crew of the Icarus touches down on this planet for the first time in who knows how long, the landscape around them is vastly different than what all the records show. Upon stepping off the ship, immediately winds buffet the crew, blowing a black dust with it. The planet itself is incredibly hot, rivers of magma can be seen from cracks in the imposibly black surface of the planet. Not much else seems to be living here. But if nothing is remaining here, why was the crew sent here on a job to deliver medicine? Or are they just too late?
