Valheldrin

Ancient Wonder: the Tower of Valheldrin Valheldrin is the location of the most complete remains of one of the Thousand Towers on Casiphon, which still remains to a height of six miles above the forested plains around it.  Made of adamantine obsidian, the tower is hollow and accessible only by flying up to the summit, which is impossible without arcane assistance.   Valheldrin was originally a small elven realm, but under the later Taorminian Empire it became a sort of arcane university for students interested in the arcane and esoteric studies, the so-called Mysterion Catacalypton.     With the coming end of the Elipation and the return of magic to Casiphon, the halls of Valheldrin are packed with those who seek to master the magical arts of a new age. The so-called Green Archive is located near Valheldrin, deep within a sacred grove at the centre of a thick and inhospitable swamp, and extensively explored and exploited over the ages by the arcanist masters of the Mysterion.
