Tzaphiri (southern Sundur Coast)
The mighty nation of Amarand Tzafiero was destroyed during the Breaking of Nations in the Sixth Cycle, but remnants of the culture and its people live on in the Tzaphiri who inhabit the coastal area around Tzaphir and the southern shores of Lake Gyon. Tzaphiri culture was most heavily influenced by dwarves, from whom they inherited a strong preference for an organised, stratified society, and from other coastal nations of the Sundur Coast, from whom the Tzaphiri learned to be sailors and traders.
The Tzaphiri have lost some of their culture after long years under the Taorminite empire, but many remained proud and have taken to their new independent status with relish. They are perceived as tall and action-oriented people, straight-talkers and enthusiastic travellers.
Real world analogue - Iberians (pre-Christian Spanish)
