Proponthryntis

The elven realm of Proponthryntis is the nearest to Taormun, who they fought in many long and bitter wars before becoming a restive and rebellious part of the Taorminite empire.  Their territory, in the rolling hills and alpine plains south of the Black Peaks along the River Fayenne, is unusually open for an elven realm through its long history of occupation by the Taorminites, and has a number of human-built settlements along the great Taorminite highway.   The Proponthryntiote elves are held to be especially religious, placing an especially high concern in properly carrying out their religious rites to the saviour-titans and gods, as well as ensuring the proper burial of the deceased so as not to allow fiends to arise during the coming Perluxion.  They were forbidden from joining the Taorminite army, instead being dispatched with the troops as field medics and religious support personnel.
