Orcish Religion
Some orcs worship a pantheon based on a supreme deity, Gruumsh, who drives them on to rage and conquest. Most orcs in the Perakhuosh Wasteland worship a different set of deities, based around the figures of the Ouvatr ('Great Father') and his sons. These deities promote subjugation and slavery of the weak by the strong as the highest good.
The orcish pantheon is worshipped not only by orcs, but also by other savage races of the wastelands, especially minotaurs.
Ouvatr: The Ouvatr is the nameless Great Father, who was betrayed by his brothers and sisters (broadly understood to be the deities of the civilised races) and now seeks only to overthrow and enslave them. He is the particular deity associated with the tyrannical rule by force and 'might makes right' attitude of the orcish chieftains and warlords.
Hrakla, the Tamer: Hrakla is the greatest of the hunters, whose influence extends to hunting, defeating and breaking in the many savage beasts of the wastelands. He is portrayed as a large, extremely muscular orc wearing the pelt of one of the many beasts he has defeated.
Djanse, the Enrager: Djanse is the god of frenzy and uncontrolled indulgence, whose followers fall into a mindless, drunken ecstasy of violence in combat. He is portrayed as a slender young orc wearing outlandish clothing always drinking an intoxicating concoction from his goblet.
Rhatmanth, the Lawgiver: Rhatmanth is the god of absolute judgement and harsh punishment, who is revered especially in the brutal trial-by-combat of the orcs. He is also believed to pass judgement on the bravery or cowardice of the orcs upon their death. He is portrayed as a hooded figure with a great two-handed axe.
The Consorts of the Ouvatr: There are a number of lesser deities of the chief god, who are his many consorts, including Clisti, Alcmi, Semli, Ioni, Eropi and Pasfi.
