Mount Indon
Mount Indon is a large volcanic peak in north-western Mettye, which despite having many vents and hot springs (including the famous Kraken's Blowhole, a large geyser), has not erupted since the Great Sundering. The lands are home to many mines (including gem and sulphur workings), farms and silk plantations. The southern sides of the mountain are exposed to the monsoons and occasional hurricanes on the Ischindar Sea, while the northern side is sheltered and experiences a much more settled climate.
Mount Indon is an impressive peak, though much smaller than many others in Casiphon. It is fairly easy to climb, as the peak is only snowbound in winter. The Grithi have built a large observatory tower at the peak, which also features a colossal statue of the famous tiefling ruler of Mabag Pachamel Grith, Piameth Ghiy.
