Hestia, the Gentle Lifegiver
Hestia is one of the three celestial saviour-titans. In the universe, her power underlies the life and procreation of animals and mortals, as well as the protective and nurturing power of fire. Her close counterpart in the dwarven pantheon is Vesta Sospirina Veravita.
Hestia is the patron and protector of the home, as well as harmony and cooperation which allow societies and families to survive and thrive. More pragmatically, she is the bringer of warmth, rest and shelter.
Appearance: Hestia is a welcoming and motherly figure in modest clothing, including a veil. She is often pictured beside a welcoming hearth, accompanied by the familiar warmth and smells of home.
Symbols: Hestia role as the patron of hearth and home and as life-giver are symbolised by the eternal flame, a schematic hearth and home, or a red heart.
Personality: Hestia's personality is indulgent, gentle and caring.
