Haral Oshiondari Mashieck
Twelve tribes, the Oshiondari, from the Erul Steppe migrated to occupy the city of Taormun and the surrounding countryside, dividing both the city and the country into roughly equal shares. Despite the name ('Mashiek' meaning 'pasture' in the Eliomandrine language), this territory, much of it good farmland, is mainly used to supply the substantial population of the city itself.
The Oshiondari control the city as a sacred duty, waiting for the day when the Eliomandrine deity, Mithaeril - originally the two mortal beings Mithi and Aerul - returns to the city after a long exile.
