Aphrodite, the Radiant Glory

Aphrodite was the most brilliant and persuasive of her time, devoted to both rhetorical skill and to art and beauty for their own sake. After her deification by the saviour-titans, she was mainly involved in rallying and convincing the mortal races to fight against the monsters unleashed by Typhon. Her greatest success was in persuading Poseidon to withdraw from the conflict before the final battle. Her counterpart in the dwarven pantheon, though not a close one, is Genetrix Suavina Leporas, the patron of marriage and the clan. Aphrodite is the patron of all forms of beauty, be it physical, artistic or rhetorical. She is also, though less directly associated with the love inspired by beauty. She is typically venerated by all those who seek to be persuasive and attractive to others, to create or be inspired by beauty. Appearance: Aphrodite is portrayed in her youthful, radiant beauty, often gracefully adorned with beautiful jewellery and clothing, or as an inspiring and impressive speaker.

Symbols: Aphrodite is symbolised by all forms of attractive adornment, clothing and jewellery. She is also associated with the garb and accouterments of public speakers, and less nobly, amorous lovers. Personality: Aphrodite is above all else marked out by impressive force of personality and ability to win over others to her point of view. Her personality is difficult to describe, as she is capable of creating a huge range of impression, changing her approach to suit every different situation. Game rules:
