The Royal Masquerade Hook: The city’s noble families are hosting a grand masquerade ball at the royal palace, Vael has managed to get you into this high-profile ball, you must meet with the individuals with the info as well as socialize with Aristocrats and keep the prince safe.   Objective: The players are invited to attend the ball as guests, or perhaps they are forced to attend to gather information. Throughout the night, the players must interact with the nobles, gain info on the death of the city’s ex-ruler, and prevent a potential assassination.   Challenges: Social interactions, disguise and deception, espionage, uncovering hidden plots, possibly engaging in combat or a chase if things go wrong.
