Fedelm

The Fedelm people are a group of satyrs that live in The Fedelm Forest, named for them by the surrounding Isendeeren*. Although there are many rumors and stories about the Fedelm, all of these are oral tales and there is no written record of this people. In recent years, King Alberic sent researchers to learn about the forest and its inhabitants, with the goal of harvesting the wood from the forest. While these researchers did their best to get accurate information about the Fedelm, they willingly admit that there are many holes in their knowledge and nothing we know about them will be certain until a peaceful contact and relationship has been established. The Fedelm are described as being roughly six feet tall, with dark scraggly hair, horns, and red eyes. While the researchers found the majority of this description to agree with those of other satyrs, red eyes are an anomaly and are likely a fabrication. They are typically described as being unarmed, although some have been seen with spades or sickles.

Average technological level

It is not well known how technologically advanced the Fedelm are. The best researchers can guess from the sitings is that they are less advanced that the surrounding Isendreens.

* It is not known if the name "Fedelm" was given to this group of people or if it is what they call themselves. The name is the only remaining piece of the history of exchanges and meetings between the Fedelm and Isendreens and Fedelm. Unfortunately, this history was lost hundreds of years ago, along with all comradery between the two groups. While it is generally believed that the Fedelm keep no records of their own history, there is no evidence to prove or deny this rumor, and thus hope can still be held out that this history may yet be rediscovered.
