† Rock in a Hard Place

Every day since reaching this foreign land has been difficult for Bhenhi. The world is soft, the people erratic, and the sound and language overwhelming. Still, they needed to to find their lost, and this has had brought them to the Tafoder Trading Post. Upon arriving, they found a suprisingly familiar face: another dwarf! They were of course still as fleshy as the rest, but he had a sense of strength and steadfastness to him that was comforting. His name was Grimmold Frosthammer, and he seemed somewhat concerned with Bhenhi's arrival, mainly looking to their staff.   When Bhenhi, armed with their translation guide, was able to successfully describe their lost person, Grimmold was surprisingly helpful and bringing her to the Stony Silhouette, a local inn deep within the residential district. Upon entering, they were met by an elderly halfling man who told them a story about a young stone dwarf who had made his hearth from seemingly nothing and disappeared before dawn. Before much else could be discussed, a group of soldiers found them and while Bhenhi fought valiantly, they were ultimately overwhelmed by their numbers. They woke up in a prison cell with an elderly and scarred oread named Arthus who encouraged them to pretend as though they had eaten the real food rather than the stone and gravel rations that Arthus had given them.
