Tortles

Tortles are an isolated and tranquil bunch of tortoise-like people who live on an island away from most of the rest of society. Unfortunately for them, many people keep trying to invade their privacy, as they are interested in the ancient ruins on their island. Individual Tortles have taken this in very different ways. The majority of them are resistant to the probing of outsiders into the Tortles' history. Some individuals, however, have become fascinated with this occupation of ruin-delving and have abandoned their ancestral home in order to seek out what the rest of Canim has to offer.
