Lacroy French
Supposedly an ensign on the USS October, but actually a bounty hunter plant to thwart the bridge crew in their attempt to uncover Starfleet corruption. Can come across as someone stupid and weak-willed at first, someone where you want to protect them, but in reality he's quite cunning and devious.
It's not as subtle of a difference as he would like. In fact, it's painfully obvious that he's a plant of some kind, although it should be hard to tell what.
Sort of played by Flynn Rider in my head (very pre-Rapunzel phase, though). Lacroy French is absolutely not his real name.
