Dwarf
The dwarves escaped the expansion of the The Dark Rift by delving deep into the ground, eventually creating a new underworld. They now live in isolation beneath the surface, afraid of the Shadowspawn. Knowledge of them has been lost to time and are considered a myth by common folk, most of the evidence of their existence lie in ruins across the world. Some can still be found living on the surface near the mountains, far from any city or town.
