For most of the continent, nobody is willing to travel to the oceans. For those few operating port towns, the seas are considered much safer than the land. With the exception of the Clawed Cove, the ocean has not grown as wild and dangerous as the surface. However, around the Clawed Cove, strange lights and movements can be seen beneath the surface. The people that were pulled beneath the waves in the final battle with the Aquamarine Khalife, Duravox, found themselves infected with the blood of the sea dragon. They were unable to leave the ocean. However, they managed to build a small community, and 400 years later, their progeny seem to have developed the ability to leave onto the surface.
