For some reason they consider themselves to be a particularly adaptive race. They have pretty much spread everywhere that is even remotely survivable, so I guess they are. There's nothing that they won't pry themselves into. They seem to have an insatiable lust for knowledge, always trying to learn and hoard secrets like they're gold. Oh, but they really like gold too. Money is super important to them. Fucking idiots.
