One leader emerged and managed to unite the disparate and hostile baronies under one crown.

After almost a century of hostility and bloodshed Baron Merwyn Ealdeheart succeeded in uniting a large part of the nobility by convincing them to join forces. His far-sighted approach set off a landslide effect throughout the provinces. The people were weary. The people had had enough of killing and fighting. Merwyn saw that the humans had the opportunity of forging a brighter future in their hands. They needed to leave their savage past behind, see reason and work together for the betterment of their race. And ultimately all of the races.
