Faith and Religion

As diverse as the cultures and peoples of Calethos are, as diverse are the interpretations of faith and religion. Some individuals don't even believe in metaphysical entities but for most intelligent creatures in the realms the Gods are quite real. And their interferences in mortal matters are more than just superficial meddling.

Practices of faith vary greatly and manifest in a range of rituals: from giving thanks before meals, lighting incense, to chanting beneath the full moon and even to sacrificial offerings in some cases.

As there are many deities and manifestations of their aspects, there are many faiths. Most individuals will give praise to the deity they feel obliged to in a given moment or wish good will from.
