Cenlon Root

The Cenlon Root is a tuberous plant common in most mixed forests of Adhorin. It is mostly found in moist regions of the forests and always grows at the foot of large and healthy trees, like elms, maples and oaks. It has a fleshy body with a rugged bark and looks like a mix between a pineapple and a pine cone. The bark is not easily pierced, but its flesh is rich and succulent. The Cenlon Root though is not edible and when parts of it is ingested it will cause cramps, severe stomach pains and vomiting.    The hunters of forest-dwelling humanoids have found the juices of the root to be a potent toxin: when extracted and cooked over a few hours, the concentrate of these secretions can be applied to arrow tips and will paralyse a victim struck by this arrow.
