God-Ice

This mysterious material appeared only recently in the New North area of Hisenor, being found in the wake of the God's Death Storm. It is incredibly hard and despite looking like ice, it does not melt.

Properties

Material Characteristics

God-Ice is found in tall, spike like pillars, between ten and fifteen feet tall and at least five feet in radius at the base. It is semi-transparent, and inside there can be seen a few drops of a crimson red, blood like substance.

Physical & Chemical Properties

God-Ice is incredibly hard, to the point where conventional, un-enchanted, weapons or tools cannot cut or harm it beyond minor scratches. It also seems to remain cold and frozen, no matter the temperatures it is exposed to, although there has not been time to test the limits of this property just yet.

Geology & Geography

God-Ice is found only in the New North region of the Continent of Hisenor, in the exact locations where lightning from the God's Death Storm that rolled over the region struck the ground.

History & Usage

Discovery

God-Ice was first recorded on the 8th of the Season of the Alchemist, PR.3127, by the Legion of Progress in Torfe, following the God's Death Storm. It was created by the lightning strikes of the storm, and the Legion currently believes this to be the sole source of creation for this material.

Refinement

As of yet, the Legion of Progress has found no way to further refine God-Ice from it's natural state.

Manufacturing & Products

The Legion of Progress is currently experimenting with the use of magical tools to carve the God-Ice pillars into useful items or weapons.
