Battle at The Mountain's Throat I Report

With combat in full swing, the party looked to be caught between two groups of goblins. Things seemed worse still when a second bugbear took to blowing a horn, alerting more goblins further within the camp. Brok-Bjorn and Gaya pushed towards the bridge, backed up by Mireme and Levi. Bolstered by Mireme's Shield of Faith, Brok-Bjorn stood his ground on the bridge, using his grenades to great effect, killing a Goblin Shaman and wounding many others. Gaya took the brunt of the hits, being knocked unconscious twice and raised back by Mireme.   At the rear, Straadmere, Esme, and Morthran engaged in a ranged back and forth across the stream with a number of goblin skirmishers, who made things more difficult by firing and hiding. But they won out in the end, and pushed forward to help the others.   The albino goblin mentioned in Sergeant Nix's letter finally appeared and opened fire. Luckily for Brok-Bjorn, his aim seemed to be off, and he was held at bay for now...
