Arcanist Matais headed one of the most famous Daemons, an important organizational structure of Middle Empire military, second only to the Pandaemonium, headed by the High Arcanist themselves. This level of access granted Matais a unique insight into the functionings of the Caerwynite Army and to the historical records from the War of the Five Realms.
