Overview

The Voice Pools are a series of tranquil, natural basins nestled among mossy roots and ferns in the Whispering Woods. Each pool is small and shallow, with water so clear it reflects the soul more than the sky. When spoken to in solitude, the pools are said to respond—not with sound, but with ripples, color shifts, or whispered impressions.   Some druids use them to divine answers. Others say the pools store voices from the past, waiting to be heard again.

Mystical Properties

  • Memory Waters: Those who speak into a Voice Pool under moonlight may hear the faint impressions of long-past conversations or ancestral advice.
  • Emotive Reflection: The water reacts to strong emotions with color hues—blue for sorrow, green for peace, red for anger.
  • Veil Resonance: If visited during the Spirit Shroud, the pools glow faintly and may echo lost names or forgotten songs from beyond the veil.
  • Cultural Significance

Druids of the Veil treat the Voice Pools as places of deep reflection and communion. Children are brought to them during rites of passage, and mourning families often speak to them to say farewells to the departed. The pools are never disturbed or drawn from—doing so is seen as silencing a sacred voice.   It is said the Whispering Woods grew thickest around these pools to protect them from the outside world.
