Origin and Lore
Forged during the final days of the Eclipse Epoch, the Stoneheart Colossus is a legendary earthbound guardian built by the Cragshield Clans and empowered by the god Inavi. It was intended as the final defense against the Voidbane, The Neverending Hunger — a living fortress of stone, rune, and divine will. However, it was never awakened.Physical Structure
- Carved directly into the mountain’s core, fused with leyline conduits
- Composed of enchanted obsidian, rune-infused mithral, and living rock
- Holds a Stoneheart Core — a divine relic containing a fragment of Inavi’s essence
- Eyes remain sealed, but pulse faintly during celestial alignments
Current Status
The Colossus lies dormant, entombed within a sealed vault known as the Throne of the Still Earth. Only the highest ranking Forge-Priests know its exact location. Earthquakes across the Rodiac Highlands have increased in recent decades, prompting some to fear that the Colossus may be stirring.Legends and Prophecies
- The Awakening of Stoneheart is said to signal the return of divine war.
- Some say only the Echo Hammer — lost deep in the The Singing Caverns — can awaken it.
- It may be the only being capable of withstanding the rebirth of the Diis Ferreis war machines.
- A few radicals believe awakening the Colossus is the key to dwarven ascension.
