Sarkar

Sarkar is Vindamosa’s military capital, located strategically along the eastern coast near the rugged Gods’ Fangs mountain range. A heavily fortified settlement, Sarkar is known for its impressive stone walls, watchtowers, and training grounds where the Maharaja’s elite soldiers, known as the Jade Legion, undergo rigorous training. The city’s architecture is functional yet grand, with massive gates and statues honoring Vindamosa’s legendary warriors. Sarkar is both a stronghold and a symbol of the region’s strength and resilience.  

Community and Culture

The people of Sarkar are disciplined and proud, instilled with a strong sense of duty and loyalty. Many residents are part of military families, with generations serving in the Jade Legion or supporting the city’s defensive efforts. The Day of Triumph is Sarkar’s most significant festival, honoring the city’s military victories and warrior traditions. During the celebration, parades, mock battles, and ceremonies are held to commemorate past heroes.  

Market and Trade

Sarkar’s market focuses on goods related to military needs—arms, armor, and supplies for soldiers and travelers. Skilled blacksmiths, armorers, and weapon crafters are in high demand, producing high-quality equipment both for the Jade Legion and for export to other regions. Traders also bring in supplies from Waazir, including food, clothing, and medicinal goods.  

Points of Interest

The Jade Fortress

The central keep and military headquarters, where the city’s commanders strategize and train recruits. The fortress is an imposing structure built to withstand sieges, with jade-colored accents symbolizing strength and honor.  

The Hall of Heroes

A hall filled with statues and plaques commemorating the greatest warriors of Vindamosa. Families of the honored visit to pay their respects, and it serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for Vindamosa’s safety.  

The Blade’s Edge

Sarkar’s primary training ground, where warriors hone their skills in various forms of combat. The training ground is open to both recruits and experienced soldiers, who practice in full view of the public as a reminder of the city’s vigilance.  

Wildlife

Sarkar’s surroundings are relatively wild, with rocky cliffs and dense forests. Predators like wolves and mountain cats roam the nearby lands, and hawks often circle above the training grounds. Soldiers of Sarkar view these creatures as symbols of endurance and strength.  

Challenges and Threats

Sarkar is vigilant against potential incursions from Vindamosa’s borders, keeping a watchful eye on surrounding territories. The city faces ongoing challenges in maintaining its defenses and training elite soldiers, as well as occasional political tension with factions seeking greater influence over the military.
