Nalara Deepcurrent – The Stormbringer's Faith   Nalara Deepcurrent was born in the frigid, icy waters of Kloth, one of the deepest and coldest settlements of Caemothas, nestled within the heart of the Arctic Abyss. The settlement itself was a jagged maze of ice-covered cliffs, towering frozen glaciers, and shifting ice floes. The people of Kloth, a hardy and resilient race of Narwhal Folk, were accustomed to the bitter cold and the relentless storms that swept through their waters. But it was the violent tempests that shaped Nalara's destiny.   From a young age, Nalara was different. While most of her kin were content to live their lives amidst the ice and snow, honing their natural skills in hunting and fishing, Nalara felt a deep calling — a call to the storms. As a Narwhal Folk, she had the unique gift of sensing the power of the sea, but Nalara’s connection went beyond that. She could hear the whispers of the wind, the rumblings of thunder, and the crackling energy of lightning. Her heart beat in time with the fury of the storms.   It was during one of the worst tempests Kloth had ever seen that Nalara’s powers fully awakened. As the storm raged, a massive lightning strike struck the sea near her home. Instead of fleeing in terror, Nalara felt an overwhelming surge of energy, and in that moment, she heard a divine voice — the call of the Tempest Lord, a primal force of nature. It was not merely the storm that she had felt before, but the will of the divine, the embodiment of the tempest itself.   Guided by this divine calling, Nalara devoted herself to the Tempest Lord. She became a cleric of storms, a conduit for the divine power of wind, thunder, and lightning. Her faith became her anchor, and the raging storm became both her ally and her teacher. She learned to harness the destructive power of the storm, not for violence, but as a means of protection for her people. The Narwhal Folk of Kloth revered her as the “Stormbringer,” a being of immense power who could call upon the fury of the heavens and strike down any who threatened her home.   Nalara’s abilities grew with each passing year. She could summon lightning from the sky, create massive waves with a single command, and call upon wind and rain to cleanse the land. But with her power came a responsibility. The storms were not to be used lightly. Her connection to the Tempest Lord demanded that she use her gifts to maintain balance — to protect the weak, to safeguard the seas, and to ensure that the storms never descended upon the innocent with unchecked wrath.   As her renown grew, Nalara began to travel, leaving the icy waters of Kloth behind her. She journeyed across Caemothas, seeking to protect those in need from the dangers of the sea and the storms that sometimes ravaged the land. Wherever she went, tales of the “Tempest Herald” spread, and people who had been oppressed by weather, pirates, or dark forces looked to Nalara for hope. With every strike of lightning and every roar of thunder, she proved herself as both a protector and a force of nature.   Yet, despite her power and her divine connection, Nalara’s heart remains humble. She never forgets her origins in the cold depths of Kloth, where the storm was her constant companion. She is a quiet storm — gentle, yet capable of immense fury when needed. Her journey is one of faith, as she continues to seek understanding of the divine forces she commands, all the while protecting her people and the seas she calls home.
