Borak Angor

Borak Angor is a robust and industrious settlement carved into the rocky seafloor at a medium depth. Constructed by sea dwarves, the settlement features a series of interconnected stone halls and tunnels reinforced with metal and coral. Glowing lanterns made from bioluminescent crystals light the pathways, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere amidst the stark terrain. Known for their craftsmanship and mining expertise, the sea dwarves of Borak Angor thrive in this challenging environment, extracting valuable minerals and crafting exceptional tools and artifacts.

A grand hall adorned with carvings and statues honoring the settlement’s founders and legendary craftsmen. It serves as a place of reverence and inspiration, where the community gathers for ceremonies and important decisions.  

The Vaulted Market

A bustling marketplace filled with stalls showcasing the finest creations of Borak Angor’s artisans. Visitors can find everything from gemstone-encrusted jewelry to durable mining equipment, all imbued with the dwarves’ signature craftsmanship.  

The Watcher’s Crevice

A natural formation near the settlement’s edge, used as a lookout point to monitor the treacherous waters of Hasslis and the Nissano Expanse. It is also a place for spiritual reflection, where dwarves pay homage to the spirits of the sea.  

Wildlife

The area around Borak Angor is home to a variety of marine life, including sturdy crustaceans, armored fish, and glowing jellyfish. The sea dwarves often befriend local wildlife, training small crabs and eels to assist with minor tasks like cleaning and maintenance. However, the proximity to Haslis Waters also means encounters with aggressive predators, requiring the settlement to maintain strong defenses.  

Challenges and Threats

Borak Angor faces threats from both natural hazards and territorial disputes. The unstable seafloor in some areas poses risks of collapses, while the proximity to Hasslis Waters brings encounters with whirlpools and dangerous creatures. Additionally, the settlement’s wealth in resources makes it a target for opportunistic raiders and rival factions. Despite these challenges, the sea dwarves of Borak Angor are resolute and resourceful, relying on their skills and community bonds to endure and prosper.
