Summary

Scales of Injustice follows Detective Violetta Cq'linns, a K’laisian police officer of mixed heritage, whose discovery of widespread corruption within her own precinct shatters the illusion that the law protects those who serve it faithfully. When she attempts to bring evidence to the one superior she trusts, she instead discovers his body—and instantly becomes the prime suspect in his murder.

Framed by her colleagues and hunted by the institution she defended, Violetta must navigate the criminal underworld she once investigated, forming a dangerous alliance with those operating beyond the law in order to survive long enough to expose the truth.
