Races of Meranthis

Over the past eight-thousand years since the gods formed order from chaos, eleven major peoples have fostered civilizations throughout Meranthis. Dwarves, elves, goliath, and triton have lived within the world since before the first humans drew breath, and while humans founded the greatest civilization of the land, few would be so bold as to deny the importance of the nonhuman folk in the history of Meranthis. Other races do exist, though they are less common and do not maintain expansive civilizations of their own. Today, peoples from all corners can be found upon the roads, and trading in the great cities, though some are rarer sights than others.
