C1 Session 7

General Summary

When we last left our heroes, Aurine had lead them to Keather, the Holy city of Mud and Bone of the Ozwok. After a short slumber, Aurine bid them farewell and were introduced to the city’s elder. The hunched over woman spoke at length about the great crystals or omphalos that anchor the elemental planes to this world. These massive extraterrestrial objects take the form of the 5 perfect solids as does their shards. The party currently has an 8-sided air shard that doesn’t seem to do anything. One shard acts as a spring for the river the Ozwok thrive along. Torque also takes the only book not written in Ari. He also gets a faux homeopathic remedy for his scratched cornea. They are invited to go to Kitsch, the main Ozwok city along the Ninurta River which empties into the Moat. The city of 10,000 is partial walled to the west and to the east is bordered by a vast dead land of black sand known as the Scorch. There our heroes enter a tournament during the Festival of Iron. Gromlock finds shiny, new blue shield and flatters the blacksmith when he offers him his desert poncho. Yeezy also has a small exchange with Durin, one of his pungent and corpulent Marauder accomplices. The first battle of the tourney includes Gadaffi who uses a charge from his staff of Something to romantically enrapture his bird man opponent. Instead of giving in to the demands of physical relationship, Gaddafi electrocutes the lecherous birdman. The second battle is between Torque and a massive Ozwoki warrior. Torque successfully summons his sword through a portion of the woman’s chest and quickly dispatches her after a quick melee. To much cheering of the crowd until vomiting up it up, he victoriously feasts on her throat. Finally, a real tussle! Gadaffi vs. Torque. Tonight at the Kettle! Tickets are still just nothing because it’s a commune! Kids get in FREE! Torque headbutts and uppercuts but manage to land the haymaker right into Gadaffi’s face. He misty steps behind and spritz the dragonborn with some melted water. Torque continually throws his sword eventually landing it across his face and knocking him out. After a final tussle with a quick Ozwok rogue, the two elders don bone plate armor onto Torque and head to their temple for a small ceremony. Suddenly, the air grows hot and a massive pitch Black sandstorm rolls in from the east. Upon the steps of the temple we greet three figures, including one with a shit-eating grin named Berne. After a small exchange about doing what‘s right and putting these monsters out of their misery, they fade into the temple. Screams of torture and panic fill the air as the storm sweeps over the steps and two massive figures seared by black sand emerge. It is there that the elder from Keather leans in to interject…
